Works for Me Wednesday: wrapping paper

It is Works for Me Wednesday again and I'm going to show you how to keep your wrapping paper from getting ruined when you put away for next year.

Take an old pair of nylons or tights. Cut the leg off and put the wrapping paper in the leg hole. Then just tie a knot at the top. No more getting out your Christmas wrapping paper and finding it all wrinkled and ruined.

I used my girls old tights for this project.

That's awesome. Once you put the hose on, what size container do you use? I can't find anything TALL enough for the paper.

Great idea, but it does make one supposition, and that is that I even OWN a pair of nylons or tights! :-) Mine is all stored in a dresser drawer in my guest room. Thanks for sharing!

Very cool idea! Now I just have to wait for Baby ChubChub to grow out of her tights :) One more year of wrinkled wrap for me!

Oooh, very cool idea! For those of us that may have endured the nylons of the 80s and actually saved a few pair, we're in luck!! And thank goodness, I do have two girls who are quickly growing out of their many pairs of tights... Thanks, I will definitely use this idea!

Great idea! And, just in time because I have tons of wrapping paper left over this year & tons of pantyhose I'm never going to wear again!

Ok, that's freaking brilliant.

Thanks for the comment on my WFMW. This Vicks stuff is actually psychic hand sanitizer, that works for 3 hours into the future (unlike Purell, which only works on the germs you've already got on your hands, apparently).

Sorry I was unclear!

Very clever - who would have thought.

I've been visiting the blog of those that have posted on mine because I'm having a little give-way over at my blog to celebrate one year of blogging - no gimicks - just some fun.

What a smart idea! I love this.

I also use the elastic on top and cut that off and use it as a trash bag hugger. I buy cheap trash bags and this makes them stay more securely. I have used the same elastic for four years now. I really need to get a patent on it :)

I am definitely going to give this idea a try- love it!
