One of my favorite traditions
I think we started this tradition before Maddie was born. Jay designed the Magi (wise man) and we made the stars. We numbered the stars 1 to 25. Then we lamented them so they hold up over the years.
We put the 25th star over the Nativity scene.

Then we put the stars around the room in order.
Each day the kids move the Magi (Dec. 1st the Magi is under star 1).
We all know that the Magi came after Jesus was born but kids loving moving the Magi so I'm not going to change it now.

How neat is that! I'll have to remember that one for when I have kids (eventually)!
