Labor Day! Field trip #2
Labor day was the first day I felt normal after my surgery so we decided to head South to Wildlife Safari.
It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and it was warm. We took a train ride, watched the elephant perform and saw people getting their pictures taken with the Cheetah.
In the petting part the kids discovered that they could be sheep. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and it was warm. We took a train ride, watched the elephant perform and saw people getting their pictures taken with the Cheetah.
"Baby sheep, Maddie"
Big sister sheep, Samantha
Brother sheep, Andrew
We drove the the wild animal part. I really like the bear area. We saw bears swimming and one huge bear napping. To be only be few yards away from the wild animals was amazing. Of course in the bear area we couldn't open the doors of the van or roll down the windows. And the sign told us if the bear approaches your vehicle to keep driving slowly. In the next blog I'll post more pictures (Picasa only allows a few pictures at a time).
