No more brace face
Yesterday Andrew got his braces removed. This is only phase one so later on he'll have full set of braces on.
Wow! His teeth turned out beautiful.
I wanted to do a split photo of his picture from last year and this year with his teeth fixed (but I couldn't figure it out). So, you'll have to refer back to this post to see the before.

What a gorgeous smile Andrew has! I remember finally having mine taken off in high school...suddenly your teeth feel so slick. Miss J is due for braces as well. We're praying to get her in as soon as we're able. Have a great week.

But, oh, isn't it groan-worthy when you realize that it is only "phase 1." My oldest has finished phase 1, and has a check up to eval the next step next week. The second oldest has spacers and is getting an appliance next week (though the ortho is hopeful he'll be able to avoid braces) and the third has already had an eval but is on the "wait and see" list.
