Our Gingerbread house

Earlier this month Samantha and I went to a Women's Night Out at our church. The women's ministry leader had prepared a bunch of gingerbread kits. We got to decorate gingerbread houses. Since Samantha worked with another little girl making a gingerbread house we decided to let her (the other little girl) take home the gingerbread house. The women's ministry leader gave Samantha a kit to take home to make another one.

Andrew and Maddie helped Samantha design this gingerbread house.

Here is a picture of the back of the gingerbread house.

How sweet of her to let the other little girl take the gingerbread house home. I'm glad they gave her a kit to take home and what a great job they did on it. It's adorable!

Looks like they had a great time!

I love the little gingerbread man on the roof. I am assuming he is putting up lights as opposed to considering jumping!

We just bought a pre-fab one of these today. Last year we couldn't make it stay together, so the kids just ended up having a candy feast. This year, I'm hoping for better results... like yours! Very cute! ~Karlie

We got a kit this year for Christmas at a "Dirty Santa" exchange. We're going to decorate it this week. We have friends in Salem, they've been there about a year--it's so beautiful in Oregon.
